Airpura 900 Industrial Fume Extractor
Fast, at‑the‑source fume capture for tough jobs
Removes smoke, VOCs, and odors from the source where they originate. High airflow combined with deep carbon filtration quickly enhances air quality in shops, salons, labs, and lounges. Operates on standard 115V power and rolls easily on casters.
The Airpura 900 Industrial Fume Extractor is a compact and robust solution designed to capture harmful smoke, fumes, dust, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) right at the source. With a powerful adjustable fan and advanced multi-stage filtration, this unit is optimized for a variety of industrial and commercial environments.
Ideal Applications
- Welding, machining, and 3D printing
- Laser engraving and light manufacturing
- Hair and nail salons
- Bars, restaurant smoking areas, cigar & cannabis lounges
Replacement Filters — Airpura 900
1) Prefilter – Catches larger debris to protect primary filters.
When to replace: When suction drops or the prefilter looks loaded. (Intervals vary by use.)
2) MERV‑13 Particle Filter – Removes fine dust and smoke.
When to replace: When you notice a considerable decrease in suction. In heavy smoke/dust, saturation can occur in weeks.
3) Super‑Gas Activated Carbon Filter (20 lb) – Adsorbs many VOCs, fumes, and odors.
When to replace: When off‑gassing is noticeable or breakthrough occurs. In high‑load environments, carbon can saturate in weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does this differ from a “room” air purifier?
Room purifiers dilute contaminants after they spread. The 900 captures at the source, which improves local air fast and helps occupants breathe easier.
What contaminants can it help with?
Fumes, smoke, many VOCs/odors, and fine particulates—thanks to the 20 lb carbon bed plus a MERV‑13 particle filter. Results depend on chemistry and load.
What is the noise level?
About 76 dBA on high; lower on reduced speeds via the variable control.
How often do filters need replacement?
Service intervals vary by use. Replace particle filters when suction drops; replace carbon when you notice off‑gassing or breakthrough. Heavy smoke/chemical loads can saturate filters in weeks.
Can I connect a hose or capture hood?
Yes. The 900 and 900 MAX accept a capture arm or hose on the top inlet. We offer an optional semi‑rigid arm, but it’s not required—you may use your own arm or a flexible hose secured with a band clamp. Installers commonly use a 5‑inch hose. When servicing filters, remove any accessory (hose/air duct) from the top plate first.
What’s the commercial warranty?
Airpura lists 2‑year parts and labor; years 3–5 labor‑only for commercial use. Terms apply.
