BigBattery 48 V HUSKY 2 Kit — High-Performance Lithium Upgrade for 48 V Systems

Upgrade your 48-volt platform with this purpose-built lithium kit offering 5.12 kWh (≈ 100 Ah) of energy in the HUSKY 2 unit. Ideal for golf carts, utility vehicles, RVs, camper vans, or off-grid systems where range, reliability and durability matter.

Why This Kit Stands Out

• Significant capacity boost — At 5.12 kWh / 100 Ah, the HUSKY 2 is positioned as BigBattery’s most energy-dense 48 V solution to date, giving you longer runtime compared to older lead-acid banks.

• Premium chemistry & build — Utilises LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry with Tier-1 cells, delivering better cycle life, improved thermal stability, and greater safety than many basic lithium or lead-acid alternatives.

• Engineered for harsh use — Housed in an IP65-rated / NEMA 4X enclosure and includes self-heating for cold conditions; built to handle wide temperature ranges and demanding environments.

• Smart monitoring & connectivity — Supports CANbus / RS485 communications, enabling integration into system monitoring, plus external capacity meter in Kit version.

• Broad compatibility & upgrade-friendly — Designed as a drop-replacement for many 48 V systems (golf carts, utility vehicles, camper vans) and built scalable with parallel connections.

Ideal Use Cases & Value Propositions

• Golf carts & utility vehicles — Replace ageing lead-acid banks with this lithium kit to gain longer runtime, less maintenance, lighter weight and stronger performance.

• RV / camper van / off-grid house-bank — Use as a 48 V energy storage upgrade for mobile or remote systems needing higher reliability and longer life.

• 48 V UTVs / LSVs / industrial equipment — Suitable for vehicles requiring robust 48 V battery systems with higher power output and better durability.

• Harsh-condition applications — With self-heating and IP65 protection, this battery is strong in cold, dusty or damp environments — ideal for outdoor or mobile use.

• Scalable & future-ready — While the kit offers strong capacity now, it supports parallel connections to expand further if your system demands grow.

If you’re looking for a plug-and-play 48 V lithium battery kit that combines high capacity (5.12 kWh), premium build, smart features and broad compatibility, the BigBattery 48 V HUSKY 2 Kit delivers a compelling value proposition. It’s designed for real-world use where runtime, reliability and performance matter.
